Six of Liverpool’s best for England

Stuart Pearce has named Glen Johnson, Steven Gerrard and Stewart Downing in his England squad for the friendly with Holland next week.

Pearce named his 25-man party in his role as caretaker manager.

This is Pearce’s 25-man team during his role as caretaker following Fabio Capello’s resignation.

Martin Kelly, Jonjo Shelvey and Jordan Henderson are to play their part for the U21 squad to face Belgium.
